Penthouse magazine up for sale

Penthouse, the adult magazine founded by publisher Bob Guccione in 1965, is up for sale.

The men's magazine, which has struggled with a steep drop in circulation, is being sold as part of an agreement between parent company General Media and creditors.

General Media filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in August to restructure its operations and debt.
