The PC Company managing director Colin Brown has assured customers that machines in for repair are being returned, and said it was possible the firm might resume trading.
The PC Company stopped trading on Monday and might go into receivership. This week Brown bought out the first debenture, giving him control of calling in the receiver.
Customers unable to reach anyone at the firm have been contacting the Herald daily.
Brown said yesterday that more than three-quarters of PCs in for repair had been returned to their owners. The rest were being worked through by the skeleton staff of three or four.
Those that could be repaired without incurring cost had been.
Brown said he was unaware of any customers who had prepaid and not received goods.
He said stock had been frozen since the firm closed its doors, and none had been returned to suppliers.
Brown said the decision had been made to stop trading but there were still negotiations with interested parties and a further announcement would be made this week.
