A new gourmet breakfast menu is among the changes at McDonald's as the restaurant chain evolves.
The fast food giant has just invested $2 million into overhauling its Greenlane restaurant which will be an extension of the "Create Your Taste" burger campaign rolled out earlier in the year, where customers could completely customise their burgers using a range of traditional and new McDonald's ingredients. The refurbished store opened this week.
Managing director for McDonald's New Zealand, Patrick Wilson said the move was made to increase transparency in the business and followed positive feedback from its customers.
"We've had overwhelmingly positive reviews of the Create Your Taste menu across the country and the new burger bar offers Kiwis even more choice, customisation and most importantly, fun," Wilson said.
"Our customers are telling us they are pleasantly surprised at the quality and innovation of our new burger range," he said.
