New Zealand software company Orion Health has won a contract to supply one of the world's leading cancer treatment centres, located in New York City.
Auckland-based Orion develops software for the healthcare sector which allow hospital staff to store and look up patient medical records more easily.
One of its key products - called the Rhapsody Integration Engine - has been chosen to replace the current e-health system at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Memorial Sloan-Kettering was founded in downtown New York in 1884 and has long been one of the world's premier cancer treatment and research institutions.
The centre was last year ranked number two in the US News & World Report's 'Top-Ranked Hospitals for Cancer'.
