KEY POINTS:
Northland Port Corporation (NPC) is considering selling its 50 per cent interest in Northport, the operator of the port at Marsden Point in Northland.
It is also considering whether it is worth staying listed on the stock market and the best ownership structure for its "land bank" of 180ha adjacent to the port.
These issues were floated by chairman Mike Daniel at the annual meeting yesterday.
NPC is 52.4 per cent owned by Northland Regional Council and 19.9 per cent by Ports of Auckland. Port of Tauranga owns the other half of Northport.
