New car registrations totalled 6304 in November, down 16 per cent from October and down 5.8 per cent from November 2004, the Land Transport Safety Authority said today.
Used car registrations - generally imported used cars - totalled 12,734 last month, 9.2 per cent up on October and 4.5 per cent ahead of a year ago, the government agency said in a statement.
New commercial vehicle registrations during the month were 2009, rising from 1873 the previous month, and up 1.1 per cent on October 2001.
The top selling make in November was Ford, with 1192 new cars, followed by Toyota, with 949 new cars.
