A Nasa IT chief technology officer is one of seven keynote speakers due to address the 2015 CIO Summit 'confronting disruption, the future of business technology' in Auckland in June.
NASA Jet Propulsion Lab IT chief technology officer Tom Soderstrom is due to speak on staying ahead of the innovation curve at the event.
The summit is held on June 9 and 10 at SkyCity and is described by its organisers as "New Zealand's premier professional development forum for senior ICT executives".
Now in its ninth year, the summit aims to attract IT and business leaders with presentations from more than 20 New Zealand companies, government agencies, NGOs, and global technology brands.
IDC Australia and New Zealand managing director Ullrich Loeffler said the programme featured options tailored for broader ICT and management teams.
