APN New Zealand is pleased to announce the promotion of Greg Hornblow to the newly created position of deputy general manager, advertising sales and marketing. Hornblow has almost 25 years experience at APN in a wide variety of roles. These include The New Zealand Herald classified advertising director, Herald on Sunday advertising director and most recently, publisher of The Aucklander.

GFG Group has appointed Antone Homan - former head of card products at Credit Union Services (Australia) - to the new role of global sales manager. Based in Sydney, Homan takes responsibility for GFG Group's international sales team, with a particular focus on high growth opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.
Harry O'Rourke has been appointed to the board of Waitakere Properties Ltd (WPL). He fills one of two vacancies on the board of the company, which is a wholly owned development arm of Waitakere City Council. O'Rourke currently CEO at Waitakere City Council and retires from that position in March 2008.
American sustainability strategist, Chris Tobias has joined communications consultancy Wright Communications as a consultant. He joins Wright Communications from Green Globe where he was the business development manager of the environmental accreditation programme.
Diversified printing services company PMP Limited has appointed Malcolm Allan as its new managing director in New Zealand. Allan joins PMP from a successful career at The Radio Network.
