KEY POINTS:
International property advisers, DTZ, have appointed Lance Collings to the position of Christchurch branch manager and valuations director after the retirement of Murray Ellis at the end of 2007. Collings has been the senior valuer at DTZ Christchurch for several years. Campbell Taylor, previously of MB Cook, has also joined DTZ in Christhcurch as agency director replacing the departing Bill Bennett. Taylor has been a leading agency identity in the Christchurch property industry for 20 years.
NZ Fresh Cuts Ltd has appointed Gill Barnes as sales manager for the Sunsprout portfolio - including the Dashboard Diner and Salad Shakes. Barnes brings extensive business development and business improvement initiatives from the UK and NZ.
Steve McGowan has been appointed as division director of Robert Half's new specialist IT recruitment division - Robert Half Technology - in Auckland. He previously worked as an Auckland manager for a leading IT recruitment specialist.
TelstraClear recently announced the appointment of a new director, Joe Schultes, who will bring significant international experience to the board. Schultes joined Telstra Corporation in 2007 as deputy chief financial officer. He was previously finance director for UK-based T-Mobile.
MedTech Global has appointed two management staff. Sanjeewa Samaraweera has joined as the general manager of strategic projects. He has has held senior roles at Unisys and Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Reena Bose has been appointed financial controller. She has held previous roles with Oberoi Hotels, Citibank and Ernst & Young.
