One of the spaces created by last week's surprise defection of FCB's chief executive, Nick Baylis, and creative director Oliver Maisey to M&C Saatchi has been filled.
FCB yesterday announced the promotion of James Mok, a key creative influence behind L&P's World famous in New Zealand advertising, to creative director.
Mok joined FCB this year after a long period as creative director and later strategic director at Generator Bates, which he co-founded. FCB New Zealand general manager Brian van den Hurk said the hunt was on for Baylis' replacement.
