Mitre 10 has ditched Fly Buys and joined Air New Zealand Airpoints.
In the latest move in the loyalty card shakeup the hardware chain said it will withdraw from Fly Buys early next month.
Mitre 10 general manager of marketing, Dave Elliott, said the move followed a review of the available programmes.
"These changes follow an in-depth review on how we can best stay close to and understand our customers and take full advantage of current and future technologies to offer them the most satisfying and rewarding experience while shopping at Mitre 10," Elliott said.
Customers who were Fly Buys members can continue to earn Fly Buys points on their purchases at all Mitre 10 and Mitre 10 MEGA stores throughout the country right up until the change-over to the new programme on November 1.
