Nestle, the company behind much-loved Kiwi drinks brand Milo, is reverting back to its original chocolate malt recipe.
The maker of the iconic drink powder found in almost every pantry across the country has faced four years of customer backlash ever since it changed the 80-year old recipe back in 2015.
"We've had ongoing feedback that Kiwis missed the old taste of Milo, so we knew it was time to bring it back," Nestle business manager Anna Stewart said.
Stewart said reverting back to the original recipe was not a process it took lightly.
"We knew it was vital to nail that classic taste and we weren't going to stop until we had that perfected," she said.
