McDonald's Japan cuts profit forecast

McDonald's Japan has cut its full-year net profit forecast by 99 per cent to $647,000 due to a one-off loss resulting from back-pay for its staff and reduced customer spending.

The company said it would change its clocking system that rounded down minutes worked and would pay back the difference going back to August 2003.
