Breakfast around the clock may be helping boost McDonald's US sales figures but the New Zealand branch is keeping quiet on whether the all-day breakfast currently being trialled will stay.
The fast food chain has been running all day breakfast at six of its locations around the country since June last year: Albany, Massey Road and Penrose in Auckland, Bank St and Kamo in Whangarei, and Frankton in Hamilton.
McDonald's spokesperson Simon Kenny said initial feedback had been extremely positive.
"All day breakfast has been going well across the six participating restaurants in New Zealand over the last three months," Kenny said. "Customer feedback has been very positive and the trial is ongoing," he said.
"Other recent trials like McCafe at Drive-Thru and Create Your Taste proved popular with customers and were then rolled out nationally, and we're hopeful all day breakfast will be similarly received."
