Prime Minister John Key's son, Max, is being blasted by his Facebook followers after sharing a post about the housing market.
Max Key shared the post last week in which he wrote "hahaha this honestly cracked me up".
"Remember when we cried as kids and our parents said 'I'll give you something to cry about'. We thought they were going to hit us but instead they destroyed the housing market."
But since then he's received no shortage of sarcastic and angry replies.
One follower remarked, "your dad certainly gives this country something to cry about", and another wrote, "How do I block this rubbish! What do you know about people struggling to own a home ya drop kick."
Another said she "didn't know whether to laugh bc it's funny or cry bc it's so accurate".
