Australian building products company Crane Group says it will buy New Zealand plumbing and electrical supplies distributor MasterTrade from PDL Holdings for about $40 million.
Crane has an existing distribution business in New Zealand, Mico Wakefield. MasterTrade has 47 stores in New Zealand with sales revenue of about $150 million a year.
