Martyn appointed Wrightson CEO

Former Pyne Gould Guinness chief executive Hugh Martyn has been appointed chief operating officer for PGG Wrightson.

Martyn was PGG's chief executive from October 2003 to October 2005, when PGG merged with Wrightson to form PGG Wrightson.

Since the merger, Martyn has been PGG Wrightson's chief operating officer, southern. Last week, former Wrightson chief executive Barry Brook was named chief executive of PGG Wrightson. He had been chief operating officer, northern, since the merger.
