The amount raised on the New Zealand stock exchange debt market has topped $1 billion for the year so far, putting activity well ahead of the same time last year.
NZX said yesterday a new issue of debt for investment firm Babcock & Brown brought the aggregate amount raised on the debt market this year to $1.24 billion.
