GRD shares suspended pending announcement

Shares in Australasian mining investor GRD Ltd have been suspended pending an announcement.

The Perth-based company, which owns 57 per cent of Otago miner Oceana Gold, said it expects to make an announcement in the next 24-48 hours.

The halt will remain in place until Thursday.

Shares in the dual-listed GRD Ltd last traded in New Zealand on Friday at $2.40. Oceana Gold was down a cent at 59c in mid afternoon trading, against a year high of $1.12 and a low of 55c.
