US investment guru Warren Buffett, the world's third richest man, has made $131.6 million for his investment company Berkshire Hathaway by trading the New Zealand dollar.
The Independent Financial Review reported that the profit was made in the period between 2003 and 2006.
Overall, Berkshire has made US$2.2 billion on foreign currency transactions during those years. His position on the Australian dollar reaped a US$247 million windfall.
Warren Buffett is currently ranked third in the
list of the world's richest, after Mexican billionaire Carlos "Slim" Helu and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
