Mineral exploration investment company Widespread Portfolios has posted an 800 per cent rise in full-year net profit, after selling shares in Vaaldiam and share-trading in Canada.
Widespread's March year net profit was $2.08 million as against a loss in the previous year of $304,000.
Chairwoman Linda Sanders said over the coming year the company hoped to get a mining licence for Asian Mineral Resources.
