KEY POINTS:
Tui JV says it accepts that its offshore production vessel Umuroa was the source of the degraded oil that washed up on a section of the Taranaki coast.
The clean-up is now complete. Operations at the Tui field - which have produced more than 3.5 million barrels, worth an estimated $350 million - were uninterrupted.
Maritime NZ said a decision on any action would be taken soon.
