Disenchanted shareholders of Consolidated Minerals are preparing to oust the board over its decision to block a takeover bid by Territory Resources, Territory chairman Michael Kiernan says.
On Sunday Kiernan unleashed a tirade against the ConsMin board and current chairman Dick Carter as the battle for control of the company he once led heats up.
The manganese and nickel miner's board has backed a bid by Brian Gilbertson's Pallinghurst Resources over a A$850 million ($945 million) counter bid by Territory.
