More than 300 workers at Solid Energy's Stockton Coal Mine could be losing their jobs tomorrow, RadioLIVE has reported.
RadioLIVE reported the Stockton Mine workforce of 540 could be reduced to just 200 in a restructure tomorrow.
Solid Energy would not comment, but confirmed to RadioLIVE a meeting with management would take place tomorrow morning and in the afternoon bosses would meet with miners.
Stockton Coal Mine, located on the West Coast, is New Zealand's largest opencast mine.
