The Maritime Union's released the terms it will sign up to to settle the Auckland Ports dispute to counter what it says is misinformation being spread by the company.
The terms include a 2.5 per cent pay rise for six months, and no contracting out of work.
It also wants all existing container shuttles at the port to be operated only by its members.
Ports of Auckland is offering a 10 per cent wage rise - but wants more flexible rostering, including the ability to call in casual workers.
"This offer is a serious offer which shows very clearly this issue is not about wages, it is about preserving job security for workers with all the benefits that has for families and the community," Maritime Union National President Garry Parsloe said.
