Two of the year's first millionaires have been made, with prizes of $1 million and $7.5 million taken home in this week's draws.
A Lotto player from New Plymouth won the top prize in Lotto's Triple Dip Christmas promotion, taking home $1 million, and a ticket sold in Lower Hutt nabbed its buyer $7.5 million with Powerball on Wednesday's draw.
The Lower Hutt winner was yet to claim their prize.
Powerball and Strike both rolled over last night, meaning there is a combined prize pool of $6.2 million up for grabs on Wednesday.
