KEY POINTS:
Biotechnology company A2 Corporation posted a narrower interim net loss of $1.63 million, despite a 26 per cent fall in revenue.
For the six months ended September, income fell to $2.74 million from $3.72 million, partly due to the takeover of A2 Australia by a 50 per cent associate in June, A2 said.
The company, which owns and licenses intellectual property for the production, manufacture and marketing of A2 milk, posted a net loss of $2.34 million a year earlier.
The result included costs associated with the Australian business, marketing and promotional costs, and a deficit from A2's United States business, totalling over $900,000.
