Lombard figures improve

Lombard Group reported a $1.5 million loss for the 12 months to March 31, 2009, an improvement on the writedown-affected $21 million loss last year.

The company's finance subsidiary was placed in receivership on April 10, 2008.

The Lombard Group continues in order to maintain the residual value of the group but the accounts released yesterday are unaudited.

There was no dividend and revenue for the year was $1.7 million.
