New Zealand contact-centre specialist Zeacom has been snapped up by Canadian software company Enghouse Systems for US$30.6 million (NZ$40.5m)
Based in Auckland, Zeacom sells contact centre and business process software products to over 4000 customer sites worldwide.
It was established in 1994 by Kiwi Miles Valentine and now employs more than 180 people in offices here, North America, Northern Europe and Asia Pacific.
Zeacom's annual revenue for 2012 was approximately $38 million.
Enghouse Systems is a global provider of enterprise software solutions with shares listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange
Chairman and CEO of Enghouse, Stephen Sadler, said the company was excited about the acquisition.
