The Commerce Commission has received an application from Johnson and Johnson to acquire part of pharmaceuticals company Pfizer's New Zealand operations.
It is part of a global sale that will see Johnson and Johnson take over Pfizer's Consumer Healthcare division.
Both companies supply a broad range of pharmaceutical and personal care products in New Zealand.
