KEY POINTS:
ING Real Living's new general manager, Nick Wevers, has stepped down as an independent director of a rival property business.
Wevers was on the board of NZX-listed Kermadec Property Fund until ING and Symphony Group announced last week they would float a specialised retirement owner/operator.
Kermadec, a small landlord which listed in December, said it had replaced Wevers with professional director John Loughlin.
Kermadec chairman Peter Wilson said Wevers had made a significant contribution in the establishments phase of the company.
Loughlin is chairman of Allied Farmers and a director of Prism Group Holdings, Toll NZ, Metlifecare, Centralines and Taupo Motorsport Park.
