Auckland software company Infolink has sold an application based on its Viibe business process management software to the GE Interlogix security division of US giant General Electric.
The web-based application, which includes interfaces to common accounting systems, covers sales, installation, service requests, inventory tracking and ordering, and business intelligence reporting.
Infolink chief executive Phill Dagger said 42 of the 300 dealers who resell GE security products had signed up to pay Infolink a monthly fee to use Viibe. A GE web-technology partner, Visions Design, will host the application and train and support dealers.
GE Security Pro director Michael Benedict said the Viibe-based application would allow all its dealers to increase business by helping to optimise their sales, marketing and logistics.
Infolink, a part of New Zealand Post subsidiary ECN Group, has about 20 staff working from its Newmarket base.
Other customers using Viibe-based applications include Epson, Bearing Point, Parliamentary Services, Courier Post for tracing lost parcels and NZ Post Letters International. Adam Gifford
