ihug buys Wave

Waikato internet provider Wave and subsidiary PC Connect have been sold to ihug for an undisclosed sum.

Wave has just under 10,000 customers mainly in Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

It will continue to operate under the brand name.

Wave, founded in Hamilton nine years ago, has been owned by Texas-based Pavilion Technologies since 2000.
