Hollywood's major studios have been fined € 2.4 million ($4.94 million) each by Spain's Competition Court for price-fixing and other unfair trade practices.
The Spanish units of Walt Disney, Sony Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox, United and Time Warner worked together to limit competition in booking films at movie houses, the Madrid-based antitrust authority found.
