Entrepreneur and businesswoman Mimi Gilmour was named as brand ambassador for Jaguar New Zealand last week at an intimate party.
The guest list included friends and family who Gilmour said had inspired and influenced her in business.
Gilmour's business career included opening District Dining restaurants in Sydney and Auckland before she moved to New Zealand to be the creative director behind Taste of New Zealand during the last Rugby World Cup.
The visit was supposed to be for a few months, but Gilmour is still here and has since co-founded popular restaurants Burger Burger and the Mexico restaurant chain.
Gilmour said her new role with Jaguar would help her continue her work trying to inspire young entrepreneurs and business people to create networks to help each other grow.
