A small, unspecified number of jobs here will be cut by car rental company Hertz as part of its international round of 1350 redundancies.
It said the reductions were mainly at Hertz's American car rental operations.
"We are not releasing country-specific numbers but the number of jobs eliminated in New Zealand is quite small," a Hertz spokesman said. Hertz operates from about 7600 locations in 145 countries.
