Hassall picked as chief

PricewaterhouseCoopers partner Bruce Hassall has been elected chief executive of the Kiwi firm.

Hassall was chosen by PwC's 114 New Zealand partners and will formally take up his role on September 21.

The election followed the appointment of current chief executive Warwick Hunt as managing partner of PwC's Middle East regional practice.
