New Zealand's commercial wine grape growers have strongly backed the continuation of their industry levy.
Over 86 per cent of grower voters opted for the levy to stay as is.
The levy currently collects just under $2 million per annum and funds industry-wide activities.
"The strong backing from growers means we will be able to continue to service their needs particularly in areas such as research, sustainability and information provision", said Stuart Smith, President of New Zealand Grape Growers Council.
