Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the multi-billionaire founders of Google, the internet search engine group, are to be paid a salary of just US$1 ($1.40) after deciding to slash their pay and bonuses.
Until the middle of last year, they had been paid US$150,000. The pair each own a 27.8 per cent stake in Google, valued at US$3.7 billion.
