Scott Pritchard of Goodman Property Trust was yesterday appointed chief executive of the $1.2 billion listed landlord AMP NZ Office Trust's manager.
Pritchard, Goodman fund manager, replaces Rob Lang and starts on September 6.
Craig Stobo, chairman of the manager's board, said Pritchard would be based in Auckland. Lang was in Wellington. The trust has offices in the AMP Centre, formerly Quay Tower, on the corner of Albert and Customs St West.
Stobo said the board had conducted a comprehensive search to find Pritchard.
"He has a proven track record as a high performing listed property fund manager and is very well regarded in the industry and is noted for his strength in building and enhancing key commercial relationships in the market," Stobo said.
In another move, Murray Barclay has been appointed to a senior executive role at Goodman. He returns to New Zealand at the end of the year to take up the role, after working in Goodman Group's European logistics markets for the past three years.
John Dakin, chief executive of Goodman (NZ), said Barclay had held senior roles at Goodman for six years. Before the European posting he was general manager developments, overseeing the New Zealand development business.
Dakin said: "We're delighted to welcome such an experienced pair of hands back to our New Zealand operation."
