New Zealand's second-biggest solid waste business could be up for sale.
The Dominion Post reported today that EnviroWaste Services' owner -- construction giant Fulton Hogan -- was on the lookout for buyers.
The Dunedin roading and infrastructure company said yesterday it had initiated a "strategic review" of its ownership of, and investment in, EnviroWaste.
Fulton Hogan has appointed Goldman Sachs JBWere as its financial adviser and to carry out the review.
Group chief financial officer Guy Pierce told the newspaper the review had been prompted by interest in the waste sector.
He would not say if Fulton Hogan had a price in mind.
