Frothy result for Starbucks

Starbucks says its same-store sales rose 6 per cent in September, topping Wall Street estimates.

Shares rose more than 5 per cent in after-hours trading.

The results topped forecasts by analysts who had expected a sales rise of between 2 per cent and 5 per cent.
