Former managing director of failed sharebroker Access Brokerage Peter Marshall made a brief appearance in Wellington District Court yesterday where he was recommitted for a callover hearing in the district court on April 11.
Marshall, of Silverstream in the Hutt Valley, is facing 13 charges of false accounting with intent to defraud and two of knowingly making false statements in accounts to deceive or cause loss.
The charges were brought by the Serious Fraud Office after Access collapsed in September 2004 with a shortfall of $5 million in client funds.
