The Ford Motor Company is preparing to sell Volvo, British newspaper The Sunday Times has reported.
No bank had been appointed to handle the transaction, the newspaper said, adding the deal could be worth 3.9 billion pounds ($10.34 billion).
Ford acquired Volvo from Sweden's Volvo AB in 1999 for US$6.45 billion ($8.33 billion).
