Fly Direct rescue

The website of failed travel company Fly Direct has been sold and launched as a new travel booking site.

Chris Whiteside, the new owner of flydirect.co.nz, said all commissions made within the first year from the website will be donated to the customers who were left out of pocket from the failure of Fly Direct Ltd.

Fly Direct was placed in liquidation before its first snow season flight - leaving around 500 people that booked with the company out of pocket.
