Auckland fine dining restaurant Augustus Bistro has gone into liquidation.
Staples Rodway liquidators Tony Maginness and Jared Booth were yesterday appointed liquidators of CCMR Ponsonby Post Office Limited, the company which owns and operates the restaurant, after an offer to buy the business fell over.
The liquidators are now seeking expressions of interest to takeover the business, which is listed for sale on ABC Business Sales for $600,000.
Augustus Bistro makes sales worth more than $3 million each year, according to the listing.
The Ponsonby restaurant on St Mary's Road is located in the former Ponsonby Post Office heritage building which was built in the 1920s.
