Companies including Ebos, BNZ, Milford Asset Management and Craigs Investment Partners took home awards at a major finance industry event in Auckland last night.
A record 800 guests, including Finance Minister Bill English, attended the annual Institute of Finance Professionals in New Zealand (Infinz) Awards at the Langham Hotel.
Infinz executive director Jim McElwain said the awards aimed to lift standards in this country's capital markets.
"Our focus is on those actions and individuals who have added most value to corporate New Zealand and hence the economy."
The debt deal award went to BNZ and 2degrees for the telco operator's $165 million, three-year debt facility. The equity issue title went to Ebos and its advisers Forsyth Barr and UBS New Zealand for Ebos' $239 million capital raising.
