Facebook's top executives, including chief executive Mark Zuckerberg, are eligible for twice-yearly bonuses of up to 45 per cent of their base salaries and other earnings, according to a regulatory filing.
Facebook says in the filing it will pay Zuckerberg, 27, a base salary of US$500,000 ($600,000) a year.
Zuckerberg's 45 per cent target bonus will be based on his performance. Chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg will receive a base salary of US$300,000.
Her target bonus is also 45 per cent, the same as for the other executives.
