My biggest influence: Angus McNaughton

Kiwi Income Property Trust chief executive Angus McNaughton credits his school years with being the single most influential aspect of his life.

McNaughton believes his years at King's College in Auckland moulded him for life.

"There have been a number of influences on my career during the past 20 years but the key one would be my schooling years, which contributed to a healthy competitive streak," said the Quay St-based executive.

As for the year ahead, McNaughton is optimistic about the trust's biggest development in Mt Wellington and the team he works with.

"Kiwi has a highly focused and strong management team, there is a positive commercial property market, with record occupancy levels across our portfolio, strong rental growth and solid demand for space. And work is progressing very well on Sylvia Park," he said.
