Elderly save through mail order prescriptions

Ordering prescription drugs by mail rather than at a pharmacy could save the United States' insurance programme for the elderly and disabled up to US$86 billion over 10 years, a study has found.

Drugs-by-mail were also found to be 10 per cent cheaper.
